IT ALL BEGAN WITH "LABORATORIUM EUPHA"
Although now extensively renowned, the Dr. Reckeweg Company traces its
origins back to humble beginnings, as a family operated business. At the turn of the
century, Dr. Heinrich Reckeweg (1877-1944) - a native of Herford, Westphalia,
Germany - founded "Laboratorium EUPHA". Using his experience and
knowledge of homeopathic medicine, the first complex agents, based on Hahnemann's
principle of similars, were developed. In 1947, Dr. Alfred Reckeweg, homeopath,
and his brother, Dr. Klaus-Günther Reckeweg, both direct descendants of Dr. Heinrich
Reckeweg, re-established the company under a new name: The Pharmazeutische Fabrik
Dr. Reckeweg & Co. GmbH.
The rebirth of the company brought with it a mandate for the preservation of internationally accepted standards of high quality. Presently directed by Dr. Klaus-Günther's son, Michäel Reckeweg, the company scrupulously abides by the heritage and praxis of Dr. Heinrich Reckeweg. Tradition and custom are maintained despite state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturing techniques and methods of organizational management. As the founder of "Laboratorium EUPHA", Dr. Heinrich Reckeweg was personally committed to the manufacturing of safe and effective remedies.
It is to the strict adherence to this philosophy that we owe the international success of the Dr. Reckeweg homeopathic specialties.
